Rushforth Wheels was representing in Ohio last weekend!

Rushforth Wheels had a busy weekend in Columbus, Ohio last weekend at the 2008 Good Guys PPG Nationals. Good Guys puts on world class shows around the Country but Columbus raises the bar and then smashes it every year! I have been going to that show for 8 years now to see the best of the best as well as to see my design clients and further my design business but this year was the first time with a booth because of the wheel business and it was a huge success. The show already attracts people from all over the world as well as the biggest names in the business so it was a no-brainer for us to set up a booth there. We have all 12 of our wheels on display in a large variety of finishes so people can actually see them and check out all the detail of the wheel designs and see how the powdercoat and brushing can transform the look of a wheel. In addition to running the booth, we had the pleasure of seeing some world class cars run the autocross course set up on the fairgrounds including our good friend, Kenny Davis and his silver COPO themed 69 Camaro that I designed for him as well as putting a new set of Rated-Xes on for Friday. Shows are fun but it's something else to see world class street machines running hard and sliding tail-out around corners. My other favorite thing about the shows is to catch up with friends from around the Country and meet new friends along the way. With the advent of the internet and car forums, we also get the chance to meet online friends at the show.
